Arcturus Publishing

I’ve been working with Arcturus Publishing since my very early days in publishing, writing my first book – Great Mysteries of the Unexplained – for them back in 2005. Since then, I’ve edited, designed, project managed, packaged and written countless titles across their lists. When needed, I join the Children’s department on a freelance basis, collaborating closely with in‑house teams, contributing to discussions, and working seamlessly within their workflows and file‑sharing systems.

Most recently, I delivered final files for a series of four children’s visual narrative puzzle books, which I planned, wrote, project managed and designed, working hand‑in‑hand with the illustrator throughout. I’ve written many other children’s books, too – both from scratch and by adapting existing material to meet a new brief – and regularly package spin‑off and bind‑up titles, reshaping content from multiple sources into something fresh and cohesive.

On the adult side, I primarily copyedit manuscripts, typically in history, biography and general interest non‑fiction.
