I’m a passionate, creative, lifelong bibliophile with terrible eyesight and an aversion to typos. I started out in publishing working in‑house, rising to senior editor within a couple of years, but once I had children I decided to take a punt on going freelance. The considered decision paid off: I’ve been playing a part in creating beautiful books alongside incredible in‑house editors and fellow freelancers for the past fifteen years.

When I’m not sitting at my desk listening to EDM and tutting over comma splices, I’m usually to be found lifting weights, hiking up massive hills, spinning, spending time with friends or devouring all the fiction everywhere all at once.

I live in Surrey, England with my husband, our teenage daughters/pop‑puzzle‑book research assistants, two recumbent cats and an enormous, gentle Labrador.
